Pioneer Day in Holden

Tyler and I went over to Holden to participate in the Pioneer Day festivities. We had such a great time! We saw a lot of family and friends that we hadn't seen in a very long time.

This year for the parade, families were encouraged to participate...and that's just what the Larsen family did. Here is Grandpa and Grandma Larsen on the back of the truck leading the float.

Here's the rest of the clan in the manure spreader...get it..."spreading the gospel"!

Dad the Firefighter

Today Tyler helped his Dad pack for a two week fire assignment. Please be careful Russ and come home safe to your family! We love you and we are going to miss you--please be safe!

Shoot Gun

Tyler is quick to point out the "big bucks" that reside in a painting that hangs on our wall, and he knows what a gun is and what one sounds like. This morning, I walked into the family room and found Tyler very serious and ready to go on a hunt.

Tyler spots an animal and is quick to point it out...

Next, he gets into his stance...

Now, it's time to load the bullet into the gun...

Finally, it's time to "shoot" the "big bucks"!

Reno is just glad he's not on the receiving end of the bullet this go around!

Ute Stampede Rodeo

Once again, the family gatherd in Nephi to enjoy another evening at the Ute Stampede Rodeo.

Here's our little cowboy ready for the rodeo.

Prior to the rodeo, Tyler and Mom went for a ride on the carousel.

Here's we are in our seats.

Here's Tyler wishing he could get out in the arena.

We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go again next year!

Tyler's First Four Wheeler Ride

Check out Tyler's new ATV Helmet. It's a little hard to balance but he tolerates it!

We have a rule at our house...Tyler will wear a helmet when riding an ATV. Since we have this rule Tyler has not been able to ride the four wheeler because we couldn't find a small enough helmet to fit him. Finally, Dad found the perfect helmet for Tyler. Tyler's new found love is going for a ride on the ATV.

Giving Reno a Bath

Every dog loves a good bath on a nice hot summer day. There's nothing like cold water from the hose, a Dad to scrub you, and a little brother to help out where needed. Tyler loves to help Mom and Dad give Reno a bath...especially when it's outside. Reno, you are a good sport and we are so glad you are part of our family!

Independence Day

This year Tyler was able to compete in the annual Diaper Derby. Lets just say we didn't take home the blue ribbon, but we had a great time anyway.

The following day we went to the Richfield parade. It was extremely HOT, but that didn't stop Tyler from having a good time!
